The main activity of the cooperative is the production of baby and children’s clothes, setting the beginning of a new production line of baby and children’s clothes in 2002 and creating new jobs for persons in disadvantaged positions thanks to the cooperative reserves.
Last year members from Chernomorka participated in the Fair of Social Enterprises and Cooperatives of Persons with Disabilities which gave the opportunity to have several meetings and make business contacts with Bulgarian and international companies, traders and visitors. “By participating, we reinforce our market concerns about children's clothing and we usually make significant sales”, said a representative from Chernomorka.
CECOP encourages European cooperatives working in the field of social cooperatives to participate as exhibitors. It also includes a European Conference “Social Entrepreneurship – a Basis for Sustainable Growth” on 21st March.
