Following the publication of CECOP’s report “Lasting Impact: Measuring the social impact of worker and social cooperatives in Europe: focus on Italy and Spain”, CECOP, in collaboration with our Polish member NAUWC, is organizing an online workshop on the same topic with a focus on the Polish context.

Exploring the Spanish and Italian examples, during this two-hour workshop polish cooperators will discuss what the next step shall be taken towards reliable data on the social impact of cooperatives in Poland; where the conversation has been going on for years, if not decades. All attempts to develop a tool that would give the sector meaningful indicators of the effects that the actions of cooperatives bring, not only in the business area, but precisely in the social area, have so far not been popularized.

Together with the participation of the Solidarity Economy Network of Catalonia (XES), Spain, and Confcooperative Federsolidarietà, Italy, two leading organizations in this area, the Polish experience in participation in public statistics on cooperatives will also be presented. Furthermore, a representative of the Statistical Office in Krakow will also present how cooperatives are present in public statistics in Poland.

Join us for this enriching discussion!
