At the root of the project proposal by DG Enterprise (which we knew about), there appeared to be a confusion between cooperative groups (namely horizontal groups of cooperatives like Mondragon, CCPL or CGM) on the one hand, and cooperatives of small producers. Both types contain cooperative realities that are within the CECOP constituency. It is possible that some of you, and/or some of your affiliated cooperatives or cooperative groups will also be approached by this consultancy: in this case, may we suggest that you wait another week to respond to them, so that we act in a coordinated manner on this project. Indeed, we told them that we would get in touch with them after our general assembly next week.
