Getting out of the crisis

On 23rd of September, the European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN) organised the conference in Brussels called “Getting out of the Crisis Together”. CECOP-CICOPA Europe was invited to participate in the workshop on employment and, at that occasion, introduced how cooperatives create sustainable employment and sustainable growth, even in times of crisis. The aim of the conference was to analyse and raise awareness on the social impact of the crisis and the austerity measures in the European Union. Key EU and national actors had the opportunity to discuss alternative and inclusive approaches to overcome the crisis in Europe.
