How do work integration cooperatives meet today’s challenges so that they can be economically sustainable while pursuing their primary mission of integrating disadvantaged groups?
The conference, “Cooperatives and work integration of disadvantaged persons” co-organized by CECOP-CICOPA Europe and Confcooperative-Federsolidarietà, the Italian Federation of Social Cooperatives, will present positive actions put in place by cooperatives in different European countries in order to provide quality employment and qualifying vocational training to persons with disabilities and other disadvantaged groups (long-term unemployed workers, minorities, migrant workers, ex-addicted persons etc).
