La Confédération Générale des Sociétés Coopératives et Participatives (CGSCOP) supports the creation, buyout and development of worker cooperatives and social cooperatives in France, offering a wide range of services: long-term assistance, financing, training, inter-professional exchange, rapresentation vis à vis the public authorities. It represents 3.177 cooperatives and 57.000 workers of which 75% are workers members. Their aggregate turnover is around 5 billion euro.
