Organised on LEGACOOP, CGSCOP, COCETA and CONFESAL's initiative, in the scope of the ongoing project in which CECOP is a partner, a study day gathered on 1st June 2006, representatives of cooperative and trade union organisations who discussed the theme and the issue of the national transposition of the SCE Directive and the expectations of national social dialogue regarding this transposition. Actually, it seems that this transposition would be the occasion to pursue and to resume social dialogue with trade unions.
On this occasion, CGSCOP presented a draft project of collective agreement CGSCOP / French trade union confederations: CGT, CFDT, CFE-CGC, Force ouvrière, CFTC in the scope of the involvement of workers in the SCE. It will be asked that a transposition legislative text will refer to it, in the field of the French worker cooperatives. This meeting constitutes an important step in the preparation of the ETUC conference of next week.
