European Consultation: Modernising labour law

Position paper
On 22 November 2006, the Commission has launched a consultation on « Green Paper on 'Modernising labour law to meet the challenges of the 21st century' ». The debate will ask how labour law at EU and national level can help the job market become more flexible while improving security for workers (the 'flexicurity' approach).
The consultation will remain open for four months ending on 31st March 2007 and its result will help drafting the Commission communication on Flexicurity on June 2007. It is therefore essential for CECOP and its members to participate.
