CNCT's mission is to coordinate the worker cooperative movement in Argentina by establishing common policies on economic, legal and social affairs. In this respect, CNCT maintains institutional relations with governments at local, regional and national levels. In addition, CNCT offers assistance and technical support to its member cooperatives.
Recently, on the occasion of the third anniversary of the confederation, the President of CNCT, Christian Miño, pointed out the progress made in the last years, such as the efforts to help member cooperatives to sign business contracts and the successful proposition of the “Bankrupcy Law” reform which has been approved, and which will facilitate the re-establishment of bankrupt enterprises by their workers.
