Indeed, in 2006, the aggregate turnover made up 9.189 million euros representing a growth of 4.6% as compared to the previous year. Employment increased by 0.9% and a similar increase is foreseen for next year. In 2007, a turnover of 10'000 millions euros is also foreseen (+7.7%) with a consolidation of 12'000 millions euros.
Different issues were discussed at the occasion of this assembly, and, notably, the expectations on the Italian government towards production and services cooperatives, the investments in the infrastructures and the industrial policy, the promotion, the problems linked to labour, social precaution, security, etc. In the manufacturing sector, we can observe a growth of export, which now represent 1/3 of the aggregate turnover.
